The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) and the educational platform Uchi.ru sum up the results of the second qualifying round of the VIII All-Russian meta-subject Olympiad "Closer to the Far East". The second round was held from February 11 to February 20, 2025, and was attended by 3,016 people. These were schoolchildren in grades 8-11 and college students who scored more than 50% of correct answers based on the results of the first qualifying round. In total, since the start of the eighth Olympiad, more than 1 million schoolchildren from 85 regions of Russia have taken part in it.
The Super Final will be in person and will be held from April 14 to April 19, 2025 at the sites of universities in Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk, Yakutsk, and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in accordance with the topic of the works. The results of the Olympiad will be announced on April 19, 2025 and posted on the FEFU website. The winners of the final stage will be able to receive up to 10 additional points to the Unified State Exam when entering FEFU and other partner universities of the Olympiad. Each participant will also receive an award: a winner's diploma, a certificate of merit, or a participant's certificate.
