The seventh annual all-Russian Conference on the Demographic Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic will be held in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and in Primorsky Region. This year the Conference will be hosted jointly by two cities. The event will be held in Yakutia from June 23-24, 2022, and then on July 14 in Vladivostok.

On June 16, 2022, on the sidelines of the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, the Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the government of the Arkhangelsk Region, and Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill, JSC signed a quadripartite strategic partnership agreement to modernize the Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill. The volume of investments will be over 11 billion rubles.

According to Nikolai Zapryagaev, General Director of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, the FEDC has already worked with the investor during the document preparation stage to obtain an infrastructure subsidy according to a decree by the Government of the Russian Federation (GD RF No. 297 dated March 18, 2020). The FEDC, taking into account the needs and capabilities of the region, is prepared to comprehensively accompany the investment project and contribute to resolving problematic issues in the future.

The APPM gasification project is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2029.
