In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a comfort-class residential complex for 160 families is being built on Arsenyeva Street. 50% of the housing stock will be transferred to residents as part of the “Affordable Rental Housing in the Far Eastern Federal District” program, designed for specialists in in-demand professions. The Ministry of Eastern Development of Russia and DOM.RF are implementing the program jointly. This is the first project in the region implemented with the involvement of project financing from the bank. The house will be put into operation in September 2024.
“Attracting qualified, professional specialists to the region is one of the most important tasks of the Government. After the building is put into operation, the apartments will be subleased to these categories of citizens. All the necessary infrastructure is located in the immediate vicinity of the residential complex, and the windows offer stunning views of the bay and volcanoes,” said Artyom Firstov, Acting Minister of Construction and Housing Policy of the Kamchatka Region.
