A Vietnamese investor will build a plant for the production of wood and activated carbon in Primorye

A cooperation agreement was signed between FEDC “Primorye” (a subsidiary of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation) and “ZELENAYA AURA” LLC at the Eastern Economic Forum. The parties agreed to collaborate on an investment project to build a plant for the production of charcoal briquette and highly purified activated carbon in the Chuguevsky Municipal District of Primorsky Region.

The project, implemented with the participation of Vietnamese capital, is expected to require an investment of approximately 230.5 million rubles. The new plant will create 30 new jobs for local residents and increase the processing potential of the region's forestry industry. Construction is scheduled for 2027–2029.

The project includes the construction of production and auxiliary buildings with a total area of 14,800 square meters, including three production workshops, a 600 square meter administrative and amenity complex for staff, a production area with a transformer substation, landscaped paved areas, a landscaping area, and a parking lot. Design documentation is currently being prepared.
