Vietnamese investment corporation SHINEC got acquainted with the business regimes and opportunities on Sakhalin
Representatives of the SHINEC investment corporation visited the Sakhalin Region on a business trip. The trip was a continuation of the work of the company's delegation at the Eastern Economic Forum, where, with the support of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), a decision was made to visit the island.
SHINEC official representative in Russia Ms. Nguyen Mai Hong noted: "The Vietnamese concern SHINEC is a leading Vietnamese developer of industrial parks and eco-industrial clusters. Over 16 years, SHINEC has created 6 industrial parks. For example, in just one of them, the NAM CAU KIEN industrial park, 80 investment projects are being implemented. About half of these are foreign investments. But SHINEC's business interests are much broader. Last year, the concern's management decided to study the prospects for working in Russia. First of all, of course, attention is paid to the prospects for creating an industrial cluster in Russia. But the interests of the concern are not limited to this. In June of this year at the SPIEF, on behalf of SHINEC, we signed an agreement with the RDIF on the possibility of joint investments in logistics, port infrastructure, processing of minerals, warehouse and industrial real estate in Russia. Now, together with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, we are studying potential areas of work in the Far East and, in particular, in the Sakhalin Region."
