EEF 2026: Creative industries of the Russian Far East presented projects in film, art, and the new urban economy

At the 11th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, the creative industries of the Russian Far East were showcased through film premieres, presentations of regional projects, business discussions, and exhibitions. Emphasis was placed on projects that transform the regions' creative potential into new businesses, jobs, tourism products, and modern urban spaces. Support for the development of creative industries in the Russian Far East is provided by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, with the participation of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).

One of the key events was the premiere screening of the documentary *Creative Far East*, held on September 1 at the "Developing the Far East" pavilion—hosted by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East—as part of the "Far East Street" exhibition. The film was produced during the International Creative Industries Forum "Created in the Far East: From Content to Capital," which took place in Ulan-Ude in May 2026 and brought together over 35,000 participants from 43 Russian regions and 10 foreign countries.
