VEB.RF will provide a loan of 12.1 billion rubles for the implementation of the project for the construction of a new air terminal complex and airfield infrastructure at the “Ignatievo” international airport (Blagoveshchensk). The first loan funds will be disbursed in the current quarter. In addition to a market loan in the amount of 8.1 billion rubles, the project will receive preferential financing in the amount of 4 billion rubles. This decision was made at a meeting of the presidium of the Government Commission on Social and Economic Development of the Far East. The new passenger terminal for international and domestic airlines (with a capacity of 1,000 passengers per hour) at Blagoveshchensk Airport will ensure flight safety, improve the quality of passenger service, increase the tourist flow, increase the air mobility of residents of the Amur Region, and also expand cross-border cooperation with the PRC.
