The program for the modernization of local energy in isolated villages in the Far East and the Arctic was discussed at a conference in Yakutsk

The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) took part in the VI International Conference "Development of Renewable Energy Sources and Low-Carbon Energy in the Russian Far East", which was held in Yakutsk.

Within the framework of the event, a strategic session “Program for the modernization of local generation using renewable energy sources and energy storage systems” was held, moderated by Maxim Gubanov, Head of the Energy and Housing Department of the FEDC.

The participants of the session supported the “Program for the modernization of local generation facilities in isolated settlements on the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation”, developed by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic jointly with RusHydro and the FEDC, and expressed their readiness to participate in its implementation.
