Yakutia is developing an AI app for shoppers and retail chains

A project to create the “NomNom Quest” mobile app—a digital service for collecting, analyzing, and personalizing information about special offers and promotions in retail chains—has begun in Yakutsk. The service is being developed using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The project is being implemented by “NomNom Quest” LLC at the “Kvartal Truda” (Labor Quarter) creative cluster in Yakutsk under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).

“NomNom Quest” is a cross-platform mobile app aimed at local retailers and manufacturers. The service will automatically collect and unify data on discounts and special offers from various sources, generate personalized consumer recommendations based on user behavior and geolocation, and provide commercial partners with analytical tools for assessing audience reach and advertising conversions. The app is not a classic aggregator; it is a standalone software product with its own architecture, algorithms, and API.

Development and testing of the new service will begin in 2026, with a planned launch in Q3 2026. Initially, the app will be used to demonstrate the technology's effectiveness and further train the algorithms. Subsequently, the company plans to license the software to regional trade associations and marketplace operators. The app will be available to smartphone users running major operating systems.
