The “VOIN” Center has launched a self-defense program

The “VOIN” Center has launched an additional general development program, "Self-Defense. Level 1," developed jointly with the Russian Union of Martial Arts (RUMA). The self-defense program was approved by a pedagogical council led by “VOIN” Center Director Dmitry Shevchenko and has already been distributed to all branches of the Center in 21 regions of Russia for further implementation.

The program includes several sections: from basic technical elements, combat techniques, and self-defense techniques against an armed opponent (short and long sticks, knives, pistols, and machine guns) to combining mastered techniques in pairs. Particular attention is paid to patriotic education, instilling in cadets a sense of personal responsibility for defending the Fatherland and a willingness to serve their country.

Upon completion of the course, students will understand the legal basis for self-defense, the motives of a potential adversary, and the practical use of basic techniques, as well as be able to apply them in conditions similar to real-life situations.
