80 films about travel were shortlisted for the “Far East – Land of Adventures” competition

The jury of the second season of the “Far East — Land of Adventures” competition selected 80 best films. Most of the works were shot in Sakhalin Region — 22 films. In addition, the shortlist included 12 films about traveling in Khabarovsk Region, 11 about Primorsky Region, 10 about Kamchatka Region, 7 films each about adventures in the Republic of Buryatia and Chukotka Autonomous District. In addition, 4 films were shot in Amur Region, 3 films each in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and in Zabaikalsky Region, 2 in Magadan Region and 1 in the Jewish Autonomous District. In total, 664 films were submitted to the organizing committee during the second season of the competition, which is three times more than in 2022. Most often, participants went on a trip to the Sakhalin Region, Khabarovsk Region and Primorsky Region. Applications were accepted until December 30, 2024. The names of the winners and prize-winners will be announced on March 5 during a ceremony that will be held at the National Center "Russia". The event will be broadcast on the “VKontakte” platform, the start is scheduled for 12:00 Moscow time.
