The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation “Sakhalin and Kuril Islands” (a subsidiary of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation - FEDC) held a meeting with entrepreneurs and authorities of the city of Korsakov in the Sakhalin Region. The main topic of the working meeting was the assignment of the status of a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV) to business projects, including taking into account the simplification of the procedure for drawing up a business plan for an investment project. Since September 1, 2024, it has become even easier to obtain the status of a resident of the FPV: the requirements for a company's business plan have been simplified, it can contain only the main parameters of the project.
Representatives of the FEDC told the meeting participants about the conditions and stages of obtaining the status of a resident of the FPV, presented the mechanisms for obtaining tax benefits and administrative preferences.
Since 2022, the free port of Vladivostok regime has also become attractive for small businesses. The minimum threshold for capital investment to obtain the status of a resident of the FPV has been reduced by 10 times - from 5 million to 500 thousand rubles.
