A special program of the “Great Children's Festival” will be held in Barentsburg, Russia, on Spitsbergen

To celebrate its 95th anniversary, the “Arktikugol” Trust, a subordinate organization of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, has become a partner in the “Great Children's Festival” (GCF) special program, "ECHO GCF Norway Svalbard." From April 29 to May 12, it will be presented outside the country for the first time—on the Svalbard archipelago (Norway), in the Russian village of Barentsburg.

The international program "ECHO GCF Norway Svalbard" is an arts festival for children and adolescents, supported by the Russian Ministry of Culture and implemented in foreign countries with the aim of developing international cultural cooperation. The project is organized by the Sergey Bezrukov Foundation for the Support and Development of Sociocultural Projects and the Moscow Regional Theatre. The festival program includes family-friendly performances and films, creative meetings with writers, master classes, training sessions for children and teenagers from leading Russian educators, experts working with both young audiences and professional theater and film actors, and much more.
