Resident of the Freeport of Vladivostok (FPV) has launched a facility for the production of floating docks and the recycling of ships in Primorye

The “Livadia Ship Repair and Building Yard” (part of the “DOBROFLOT” Group of Companies), a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV), has launched production of floating docks and berths, as well as a ship recycling facility producing scrap metal. The new facilities were established in the village of Livadia in Primorsky Region. Total investment in the project, under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), amounted to 39.3 million rubles, creating 73 jobs.

"Our residency status and the support of the FEDC have enabled us to simultaneously develop two promising areas. We've not only established the production of floating docks and berths, but also created a modern ship recycling facility, which is particularly important for fleet renewal and coastal cleanup. Government support has helped and continues to help us make shipbuilding in the region modern and high-tech," noted Alexey Kudryavtsev, CEO of “Livadiysky Shipyard”.

Sergey Skaliy, Deputy General Director for Investment Project Support of the FEDC, noted that the launch of new projects at the “Livadia Shipyard” will allow the company to significantly expand its production line and order portfolio, and will enhance the plant's overall investment appeal.
