"My family and I had known about this place for a long time—my grandmother lived here. When the opportunity arose to get free land through the “Hectare” program, we decided to give it a try. We took a plot and started by preparing a pond and planting lotuses. When it began to sparkle and the lotuses began to bloom, we realized we needed to show this to people. That's how we came up with the idea to create a park," says Nikita Baula.
The park gained popularity, word of mouth spread, and the place acquired the name "Family Pond." Today, there are barbecue areas, a guest house, and a wooden fence and gates surrounding the park, styled after ancient Roman military forts. Horseback riding and boat rides on the pond are available for guests, and in winter, an ice-skating rink is also available.
