Another crab boat was built at the ship repair yard of a resident of the Freeport of Vladivostok in Primorye

The “Nakhodka Ship Repair Yard” (JSC NSRY) has completed construction of a new fishing vessel, the "Bukhta Natali," which has passed trials, received Russian Maritime Register of Shipping certification, and is ready to begin live crab fishing in the Sea of Okhotsk. As a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV), NSRY is implementing a project to modernize the shipyard's capacity for the construction of a series of vessels, increase ship repair volumes, and implement port cargo handling operations. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the resident has currently invested over 300 million rubles in the project, creating over 800 jobs.

The vessel "Bukhta Natali" was built to the CcA5712LS design. It is 57.7 meters long, 12.6 meters wide, and has a draft of 5.7 meters. A 1,620-kilowatt main engine provides a speed of approximately 12.6 knots. The vessel is designed for catching crab with traps and storing and transporting live catch in bulk tanks filled with seawater. A crew of 24 will service the vessel and fishing equipment.

Construction of modern crab fishing vessels based on designs Cca5712LS, 03141, and GM 5.03 continues at the NSRY shipyard. Under the state investment quota program, 15 contracts have been signed with domestic fishing companies for the period from 2020 to 2029.
