A new runway was opened in the village of Nikolaevka in Kamchatka Region

The start of use of the new runway was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Kamchatka Region Vladimir Solodov and the Russian Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov. The unpaved runway allows receiving aircraft of the L-410, An-28 and Mi-8 types. The annual passenger flow is planned to be up to 40 thousand people per year. The project was implemented by the aviation company VITYAZ-AERO, a resident of the Kamchatka ASEZ. The volume of investments in the project exceeded 710 million rubles.
