In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, more than 120,000 square meters of housing will be built as part of the “Far Eastern Quarter” program by 2028

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, construction of the “Severny” microdistrict continues as part of the “Far Eastern Quarter” program. Modern housing, utility and transport infrastructure, and social facilities are being built using the benefits and preferences of the “Kamchatka” ASEZ. The “Far Eastern Quarter” program was developed by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and is being implemented with the participation of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).

The regional company, OOO SZ “SK Sever”, is constructing the “Severny” microdistrict under an agreement with the FEDC. The project calls for the phased delivery of over 120,000 square meters of housing by the end of the first quarter of 2028, followed by comprehensive development of the area. It also includes the construction of social infrastructure—a 280-child kindergarten and a 1,020-child school.

Construction is currently underway on two of four phases. The first phase—two apartment buildings—is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2026. It will provide 23,687 square meters of housing (461 apartments). The second phase—four buildings—is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2027. This phase will provide 42,735 square meters of housing, or 746 apartments. The developer expects to receive construction permits for the third phase of the project by the end of 2026.
