In Murmansk, a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation will build a facility for servicing large-scale marine equipment

“Port-Service Nord”, a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation, is implementing a project under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation to construct new facilities for technical testing, repair, and maintenance of large-scale emergency rescue equipment for watercraft. The total investment in the project is 67.79 million rubles.

"The benefits and preferences provided by our status as a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation allowed us to begin construction of new buildings with areas of 800 and 644.5 square meters. We secured the land without a tender and received preferential income tax rates for 10 years. We will now focus on investing in construction and business development. The plans include the construction of heated hangars with high ceilings. They will house large-scale emergency rescue equipment—ship cranes, rescue cranes, lifeboats, supplies, and more," commented Alexander Vinogradov, General Director of “Port-Service Nord”.
