Representatives of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and provision of the Russian Chairmanship of the Arctic Council met in Moscow with the heads of diplomatic missions of Latin American countries and the states of the Persian Gulf. During the meeting, the diplomats were presented with the prospects for cooperation in the northern latitudes and key Russian projects for the development of the Arctic. From the Russian side, the event was attended by representatives of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the Association of Indigenous Peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation.
