In Monchegorsk, Murmansk Region, a new resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation will build more than 100 thousand square meters of housing

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) has assigned the status of a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) to the company Specialized Developer TRANSSTROYDEVELOPMENT SEVER (OOO SZ TSD SEVER). The investor is implementing a project to build a residential microdistrict "Harmony of the North" in the city of Monchegorsk in the Murmansk region under preferential conditions. The city is one of the supporting settlements of the Russian Arctic. The parties signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of the project in September 2024 at the Eastern Economic Forum 2024. Deputy Director General for Investment Project Support of the FEDC Sergey Skaliy noted that thanks to government support measures, new large-scale projects are launched in the Arctic regions, major developers are coming, new enterprises are opening, and new jobs are being created. With government support, comfortable living conditions are being created in Arctic cities, and the appearance of cities is improving.
