The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East discussed the strategy for promoting brands of Far Eastern universities

On March 13, a strategic session entitled “Promotion of Far Eastern Universities: How to Build a Strong Brand and Attract Applicants” was held at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation. The event was held under the leadership of the Deputy Head of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East Elvira Nurgalieva, with the participation of representatives of leading Far Eastern universities - participants in the “Priority-2030” program, as well as the ministry's partners - ANO “National Priorities”, Federal State Autonomous Institution Sociocenter - the operator of the “Priority-2030” program and the “Paraweb” company. The main goal of the strategy session is for universities to develop effective strategies for attracting applicants during the 2025 admissions campaign. It will start in April. To this end, the event reviewed best practices and communication tools that can be useful to universities in this work. The event participants listened to several thematic lectures on the specifics of building communication campaigns, promoting regional brands, creating effective university websites, their architecture and content, and also reviewed successful cases of marketing work of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU). During the master class "Brand Strategy of the University" they discussed the mechanics of work on designing brands, choosing communication channels for disseminating information.
