In Magadan, Yuri Trutnev and Nikolai Patrushev held an offsite meeting of the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Russian Federation on topical issues of national security in the regions of the Far East
The event was attended by the heads of the Far Eastern regions, the leadership of federal ministries and departments. They discussed a number of issues related to the military-political situation in the Asia-Pacific region. Attention was paid to public and state security in the current international situation. The topics of transport and energy security of the East of Russia, measures to improve the quality of life of the population were discussed in detail.
Particular attention was paid to additional measures to protect and strengthen traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, culture and historical memory in the regions of the Far East.
