Issues of increasing the efficiency of personnel training for the mining industry were discussed at a meeting in the FEDC

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) hosted a conference with the participation of members of the consortium “Leaders of Mining Education - Far East”. The event, organized jointly with Transbaikal State University (ZabSU), was attended by representatives of universities, mining enterprises, research centers, and other organizations interested in the development of mining in the Far East. The main topic of the conference was the issue of training personnel for the mining industry and synchronizing educational processes with the needs of the industry. The consortium “Leaders of Mining Education - Far East” was created on the initiative of the FEDC together with partners - the leading mining universities of the district and key mining enterprises of the country. Its goal is to provide this key sector of the economy with highly qualified personnel. Svetlana Yakovishina from the “Good Ecology” company told conference participants about the “Green Personnel” in the Mining Industry project, which will help train a new generation of qualified environmental specialists in the field of subsoil use.
