The implementation of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky master plan was discussed at the FEDC's Investment Council

The first meeting of the Council dedicated to the implementation of investment projects within the framework of long-term comprehensive development plans for Kamchatka Region cities was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). Representatives of the Kamchatka Region Government, the Kamchatka Development Corporation, the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Vostokgosplan," and development institutions participated in the event.

The main agenda included the implementation of projects within the long-term comprehensive socio-economic development plan of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky urban district and the structuring of initiatives included in the agglomeration's strategic master plan.

The Councils participants reviewed the progress of key investment projects. Particular attention was paid to the integrated development of the territories, including the creation of the public spaces "Petropavlovsk Harbor," "Mechanical Plant Pier," and "Komsomolskaya Square." Alexander Mylnikov, CEO of the Kamchatka Development Corporation, and Ekaterina Korzh, Minister of Architecture and Urban Development of the Kamchatka Region, presented updates on the implementation timelines and current status of the projects.

Andrey Fedorov, representative of Investment Department at the FEDC, emphasized: "We are seeing strong momentum in integrated development projects in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Importantly, investors are showing interest not only in anchor projects like the Petropavlovsk Harbor or the cable car, but also in secondary projects that create a livable environment. Our current joint task with the regional government is to complete the structuring of the “Solnechny” and “Zarechny” projects so that they can be brought to the practical implementation stage as soon as possible, with a clear financial model and understandable mechanisms for state support."
