Alexey Chekunkov, Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic:

"Today, the development of the Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor is a key area of development for the country's transport sector as a whole. All future major infrastructure projects will be connected in one way or another to the TTC, as it is not simply a route from Kaliningrad and Murmansk to Vladivostok and Shanghai, but a fully-fledged highway from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. The total investment volume in mineral resource projects in the Russian Arctic will exceed 30 trillion rubles, and the volume of infrastructure investment for these projects, according to a rough estimate, will exceed 5 trillion rubles."
