Nine modern workshops in popular training areas have been opened in colleges and technical schools of the Magadan Region
In the Magadan Region, with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and using funds from the Unified Presidential Subsidy, nine modern workshops have been opened as part of a program to modernize the material and technical base of secondary vocational education (SVE) organizations. New educational facilities have been built at the Mining College, Magadan Polytechnic College and its Olsk branch, Susuman Vocational Lyceum, Magadan College, Magadan College of Arts and Magadan Regional Medical College.
The creation of modern SPO workshops is being carried out in pursuance of the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation following the results of the Eastern Economic Forum 2022, according to which at least 900 workshops should be built in the Far East by 2030. By the end of 2024, 165 modern workshops worth over 1.2 billion rubles will be opened in technical schools and colleges of the Far Eastern Federal District using funds from the Unified Presidential Subsidy of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East.
