Colleges and technical schools of Buryatia will open 8 educational programs in the interests of key sectors of the Far East economy

From September 1, 2025, 6 educational institutions of secondary vocational education (SVE) in the Republic of Buryatia will begin training personnel in new programs for strategically important sectors of the Far Eastern Federal District economy: mechanical engineering, transport and logistics, agriculture, construction and electronics. 200 budget places have been allocated for 8 areas, including "Information Modeling in Construction", "Operation of Transport Electrical Equipment and Automation", "Animal Science". New educational programs are being opened with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). To launch them, the necessary material and technical base was created at SVE institutions, including modern workshops under the Unified Presidential Subsidy. In total, 65 workshops worth 359.7 million rubles will be opened in colleges and technical schools of the Republic of Buryatia from 2023 to 2025 using funds from the Unified Presidential Subsidy. Workshops have already been opened at the Buryat Agrarian College named after M.N. Erbanov, the Technical School of Construction and Urban Economy, the Baikal Multidisciplinary College and the Ulan-Ude Aviation Technical School.
