Modernization of the plant for the production of pellets is planned by an enterprise in the Khabarovsk region

The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and «Rustrans DV» signed a cooperation agreement to modernize the existing pellet production in the Khabarovsk region. The potential investor plans to invest 0.5 billion rubles in the project and create jobs for 50 local residents.

Currently, «Rustrans DV» LLC produces fuel pellets and monthly sends more than 200 tons for export to South Korea. The modernization of production will increase the output to 15,000 tons per year, - said Ivan Kholodilin, director for foreign economic activity of Rustrans DV LLC.

According to the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the export of pellets from the Far Eastern Federal District for 7 months of 2022 increased by 26% (from 129 to 163 thousand tons) compared to the previous period in 2021, and the average price increased to $ 189 per ton.
