Buggy production will start in Khabarovsk

As part of a working trip to the Khabarovsk Region, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation Yury Trutnev visited the “Soniktrans” enterprise, where it is planned to launch mass production of highly passable tactical all-terrain vehicles (buggies) for the needs of law enforcement agencies. For the creation of assembly production, the Khabarovsk ASEZ was expanded.

According to Igor Filippov, director of “Soniktrans”, after adjusting the technological cycle, up to twenty cars will be produced per month. The company received a certificate of conformity of the Eurasian Economic Union for a multi-purpose all-terrain vehicle.

Off-road buggy speed reaches 100-120 km / h, load capacity - 350 kg. Yuri Trutnev personally checked how the all-terrain vehicle goes off-road during a visit to the landfill. After that, the Deputy Prime Minister shared his impressions: “The car is needed, but it needs to be improved. The Buggy's weight can be reduced. It is necessary to provide a car with protection: no matter what tasks the car performs in the war zone, people must be protected. Several sheets of Kevlar on the front doors will definitely help protect the fighters from minor shrapnel wounds. Together with the military, you need to think about how you can use the car in a war zone. In its current form, it can be used to deliver food, water, and ammunition to the front line,” Yury Trutnev noted.
