A meeting with residents of priority development areas and the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV) implementing projects in agriculture, fisheries, food and processing industries was held at the FEDC “Khabarovsk”. The event was held as part of the preparation for the sectoral session of the Eastern Economic Forum-2025 on the initiative of the Union of Preferential Regime Residents with the support of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). Representatives of federal and regional executive authorities took part in the meeting.
"Investment projects in agriculture, food and processing industry, fisheries are of great importance for food security of the Far East regions. The corporation provides support to residents and supervises the implementation of projects so that they are introduced on time and stimulate the growth of the region's economy," emphasized the Director of the FEDC “Khabarovsk” Alexey Razin, adding that specific proposals will be formed on all issues of residents for further discussion within the framework of the industry session of the EEF-2025.
In the territory of Khabarovsk Region and the Jewish Autonomous District, 155 residents are implementing investment projects. 14 of them are establishing agricultural enterprises and investing more than 9.5 billion rubles in the industry, creating more than 1.7 thousand jobs. 3.9 billion rubles have already been invested in projects in agriculture, food and processing industry, and fisheries; more than 940 people have been employed at the resident enterprises.
