Construction of a new building for the Far Eastern Art Museum and the Far Eastern Children's Recreation and Health Center is underway in Khabarovsk

Vitaly Altabaev, First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, and Sergei Abramov, First Deputy Chairman of the Khabarovsk Regional Government, inspected construction sites for projects being built in Khabarovsk and its suburbs with state support.

The project concerns the "Far Eastern Concession" mechanism and the "Far Eastern Quarter" program. Both instruments were developed by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East at the initiative of Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District. For example, 1.4 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for the construction of a new building for the Far Eastern Art Museum (FEAM), with an additional 10.5 billion contributed by “IFR-EXPO”, the investor with which the relevant concession agreement was signed.

Construction workers are scheduled to complete the Far Eastern Children's Recreation and Health Center in the village of Bychikha by the end of 2027. Federal funding for the project totals nearly 1.9 billion rubles, with extra-budgetary funding totaling over 4 billion rubles. The center will be able to accommodate up to 350 children per shift.
