The implementation of plans for comprehensive socio-economic development has begun in the cities of the Far Eastern Federal District

The Far East is starting to implement 22 long-term plans for the development of cities and agglomerations. In the federal district, it is planned to implement 875 measures with a total cost of more than 4.4 trillion rubles. The work will take place in the cities of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Chita, Krasnokamensk, Ulan-Ude, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Korsakov, Tynda, Severobaikalsk, Magadan, Anadyr, Yakutsk, Neryungri, Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Blagoveshchensk, Svobodny, Belogorsk, Vladivostok, Artem, Bolshoy Kamen, Nakhodka, Ussuriysk, Arsenyev, Birobidzhan. New construction will begin in 2024 with the support of the Ministry of Eastern Development of Russia, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic (FEDC), federal ministries and departments, and regional authorities. The implementation of long-term plans for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the cities of the Far Eastern Federal District will improve the quality of life of people in the Far East, develop promising sectors of the economy, create new jobs and additional opportunities for self-realization of people, and reveal the unique tourism advantages of the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District.
