The "Far East Paths" project is being implemented on behalf of Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, using funds from the Presidential Far Eastern Unified Subsidy of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and with the support of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).
A total of 18 tourist routes totaling 126.8 kilometers are being developed in nine regions of the Far Eastern Federal District as part of the program. The "Great Sukhotinskaya Pathway" is the third completed project, following the opening of the "Health Path" in the Republic of Buryatia and the "Sacred Path" rout in the Zabaikalsky Region.
