In Buryatia, participants in the “Hectare” program were informed about government support measures for project development

A specialized seminar for current and potential participants of the “Hectare” program was held in Ulan-Ude. Participants learned about government support measures in entrepreneurship, agriculture, and tourism, received practical recommendations for land development, and had the opportunity to directly ask questions to representatives of government agencies and development institutions.

"Obtaining a hectare is only the first step. For many participants, the next question is how to transform the land into a place to live, work, or generate income. Therefore, it's important not only to provide the land but also to help people understand the available support tools. These seminars allow you to receive information directly from relevant experts in your region who understand the specifics of doing business locally, identify appropriate support measures, and understand the opportunities available for developing a farming, tourism, or entrepreneurial project," said Yulia Tishchenko, Director of the Far Eastern and Arctic “Hectare” Project Implementation Department at the FEDC.

The “Hectare” program is implemented by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, with support from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). Over the past ten years, more than 182,000 people have received land plots in the Far East and the Arctic. Participants can use the land for housing construction, agriculture, tourism development, and entrepreneurial projects. The support system includes consulting support, educational programs, and information about available government support measures.
