The "Health Trail" tourist route opened in the Verkhnyaya Berezovka microdistrict of Ulan-Ude. It was built as part of the "Far East Trails" project, funded by the Presidential Far Eastern Unified Subsidy of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, with support from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). The trail in Ulan-Ude is the longest in the Far Eastern Federal District, stretching 21 kilometers. The route winds through pine forests and a mountain range, connecting key tourist attractions in the city.
Hikers will be able to choose the optimal route for themselves. The routes are equipped with lighting and video surveillance systems. For visitors' convenience, the entire trail network includes four entrances, four observation platforms, over 25 rest areas, navigation with over 1,000 signposts, restrooms, and trash disposal areas. Tactile information signs and QR codes with accessible geolocation information are also available.
