Andreevsky Park, a master plan project built with federal grant funds, opened in Bolshoy Kamen

In the town of Bolshoy Kamen in Primorsky Region, Andreevsky Park, a new public space with a viewing platform overlooking the sea, was officially opened. The project was funded by a 150-million-ruble federal grant following its victory in the 2nd Competition for the Best Projects to Create a Comfortable Urban Environment for the Regions of the Far East. The competition was held at the request of the President of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).

Hundreds and thousands of city residents are expected to visit the park daily—almost 80% of Bolshoy Kamen's residential property is located in close proximity to the new public space. The project has combined the cultural, leisure, and sports functions of the central part of Bolshoy Kamen with the developing residential areas, creating a unified, modern public space.
