The second round of the “Tsiolkovsky 2030” program for management teams of Far Eastern schools has begun in Blagoveshchensk

On September 22, the in-person module of the second cohort of the "Tsiolkovsky 2030" professional retraining program opened at Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University (BSPU) in the Amur Region. The project, aimed at developing school management teams in the Far East, is being implemented by BSPU and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), with support from the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).

In 2025, a competitive selection process was held for participation in the second round of the project. Twenty-three teams were selected from 70 candidate teams representing 11 regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. These teams included educational institutions from the Amur, Sakhalin, Magadan; Kamchatka, Khabarovsk, and Primorsky Regions; and the Republics of Sakha (Yakutia) and Buryatia. Participants included school principals and deputy principals, teachers, and methodologists representing both large educational centers and small rural schools in the region.

The second cohort of the "Tsiolkovsky 2030" program will take place from September 22 to 26. Over the course of five days, future education leaders will be immersed in an intensive program to develop strategic thinking. The program includes lectures by leading experts, strategic sessions, training sessions, and workshops. Participants will master project management, strategic planning, and teamwork tools, as well as learn about the practices of leading schools in the country. At the same time, the organizers continue to support graduates of the first cohort: the winning teams will implement projects using grants of 300,000 rubles for school development, while the remaining participants will receive methodological support from BSPU.
