In the Barguzinsky district of the Republic of Buryatia, the first cinema hall is being modernized under the “Technovostok 2030” project

As part of the “Technovostok-2030” project, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), in collaboration with Extra Cinema, is implementing a project to create a network of cinemas in small towns across the Far East. The first cinema will be modernized in the Barguzinsky District of the Republic of Buryatia, at the premises of the District Cultural and Leisure Association.

In total, 13 cinemas are planned to be equipped in the Far East following the pilot phase of the “Technovostok 2030” project. The new facilities will be equipped with the domestically developed Extra Cinema hardware and software system, which includes a digital platform, a projector with a built-in media server, a control computer with secure software, a cloud-based content library, a session scheduling and screening management system, and a cinema screen. Cinemas equipped with Extra Cinema technology will be able to use the Pushkin Card.

The program to create a network of cinemas in small towns using Extra Cinema technology is being implemented with the support of the Russian Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, VEB.RF, FEDC, and the “Voskhod” Foundation.
