A plant for the production of liquefied natural gas will be built at the «Nakhodka» ASEZ in the Primorsky region. The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed at the EEF-2022 between the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the «Far East Investment Company», a project company that is part of the group of companies of the «East Arctic Oil and Gas Corporation».
The plant will process 150 million cubic meters of gas per year, providing bunker fuel to marine vessels in the waters of the ports of the Far East and supplying coastal LNG consumers in Russia and Asia-Pacific countries.
Planned project implementation period: from 2023 to December 2025. The total estimated volume of capital investments is 7.5 billion rubles. The project provides for the creation of 110 jobs.
