Thirty projects with a total investment of 200 billion rubles are planned to be implemented in 2023 under the “Far Eastern Concession” program. This was stated by Deputy Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Anatoly Bobrakov at a field meeting to sum up the results of work on the socio-economic development of the Far East in 2022 and priority tasks for 2023, which was chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.
Under the “Far Eastern Concession”, the first 14
projects worth 31 billion rubles have already been approved and are being
implemented. These are a new ski resort in the Primorsky Region, a children's
camp in the Khabarovsk Region, lighting in Chita and Birobidzhan, heat supply
for a village in the Trans-Baikal Territory, sports and social facilities in
the Magadan Region. The positive changes in the quality of life that the
creation of these facilities will lead to will affect about half a million
residents of the Far East.
