A field session of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum – 2022, with the title “the IT Sector as a Driver of Increased Quality of Life in the Far East”, has been held in the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, the Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation and the Roscongress Foundation. The participants discussed the existing mechanisms and challenges involved in the provision of support to the IT sector in the Far East. Discussions on the digital sector in the FEFD and on boosting social and economic development in the Russian Far East will continue in the 7th Eastern Economic Forum, to be held in Vladivostok from 5-8 September.
