Participants in the FEDC educational program "Academy of the Hectare" will be able to acquire new skills and develop their own tourism project free of charge

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) announces the start of enrollment for the “Hectare Academy” professional retraining program. The training is designed for participants in the “Far Eastern Hectare” and “Arctic Hectare” programs who hold a higher or secondary vocational education. Registration will be open from July 21 to August 2, 2026, and training will take place from August 28 to December 1, 2026.

The “Hectare Academy” helps landowners gain practical skills for land development and launching their own businesses. In 2026, the program will focus on creating and developing tourism projects. Upon completion of the training, students will develop their own business project, which can serve as the basis for attracting investment and subsequent implementation on the acquired land.

The program consists of 250 academic hours. The program is taught in both part-time and full-time formats, using distance learning technologies. Graduates will receive a professional retraining diploma, which qualifies them to work in tourism business management.
