The tourism potential of Pomorie was presented at the head office of the FEDC

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) hosted a presentation of educational and environmental routes, entertainment for active recreation and tourist locations in the Arkhangelsk region. Representatives of regional authorities, tour operators and industry experts, heads of resident companies in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) attended the event. “We see an increase in interest in the Arkhangelsk region from tourists from other regions of Russia. Today, requests for environmentally friendly types of tourism are especially relevant, and we have something to offer Moscow tour operators,” said Deputy Minister of Culture of the Arkhangelsk Region for Tourism Anna Tyutrina. Guests were offered the national tourist route “Arkhangelsk: Here the Arctic Begins” and an immersion into the harsh exoticism of the Russian North along the route “Necklace of the Northern Territory”. Chairman of the Board of the Arkhangelsk Regional Tourist Association Olga Gorelova expressed hope that the event in the FEDC, which is taking place on the eve of the opening of the 2024 tourist season, will help to conclude new agreements and contracts that will increase the flow of tourists to the region.
