The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation and the Regional Development Fund of the Republic of Buryatia presented the largest tourism companies in Russia with investment opportunities in the region. The intense four-day business program included an inspection of potential investment sites in the municipal districts of Buryatia - Tunkinsky, Okinsky, Kabansky and in the capital of the republic - the city of Ulan-Ude, visits to key hospitality facilities, as well as a presentation of investment resources of coastal Baikal territories that have maximum potential for attracting tourists. Representatives of companies that implement tourism projects on the shores of Lake Baikal shared their experience in creating their facilities. Thus, the head of the family hotel “Villa Malina” Olga Platonova spoke about the upcoming opening of the second facility of the chain in the village of Arshan and regional subsidies for the construction of prefabricated modular houses for tourists. Director of the Altan Serge recreation center Rajana Namzhilova shared her experience in implementing her project and presented the investment opportunities of neighboring sites on the coast of Baikal. As part of the business trip, a meeting was held with representatives of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia, the Regional Development Fund of the Republic of Buryatia and local government bodies.
