Construction of the “Vostok” sniper training center in Primorye will begin in January 2025

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev discussed with the Governor of Primorsky Region Oleg Kozhemyako and Hero of Russia, Guards Major Yaroslav Yakubov the implementation of the project to build the “Vostok” Sniper Training Center in the Nadezhdinsky District of Primorsky Region. The training ground will be built jointly by the Combat Sniping Federation, the Government of Primorsky Region and the Military-Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth Center "VOIN". It is planned to use it for training snipers and holding military-patriotic and sports military-applied events. The area of ​​the training ground will be 70 hectares. "The timeframe for creating the training ground must be tight. Our guys are fighting. We have the opportunity to help train fighters and make our country stronger. We will not postpone anything. I will give the corresponding instruction to support the project to the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. We will work together, based on the fact that the testing ground should be launched in 2025. At the same time, it should meet the highest requirements. We already have such a testing ground in Yakutia. It is as it should be. The testing ground in Primorye should be no worse," Yuri Trutnev summed up the meeting.
