During a working visit to Primorsky Region, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev heard a report from Primorsky Region Governor Oleg Kozhemyako on the construction of the “Vostok” Sniper Training Center in the Nadezhdinsky District.
The training ground will be built jointly by the Combat Sniping Federation, the Government of Primorsky Region and the Center for Military-Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth "VOIN".
The center will have shooting galleries for testing rifle and sniper systems. In open shooting galleries at distances of up to 2.5 thousand meters, visitors will be able to practice shooting skills and learn the rules of safe handling of weapons. It is planned that training and exercise sessions for children's and youth organizations will take place as part of basic military training.
