The Center for Folk Arts and Crafts of the Magadan Region is preparing to open
During a working trip to the Magadan Region, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev and Governor of the Magadan Region Sergei Nosov visited the Center for Folk Arts and Crafts, located in Magadan.
The grand opening of the Center is scheduled for early December this year. It was created to support the development of folk arts and crafts and the popularization of decorative and applied arts. The area of the premises is 295.6 square meters. Repair work on the premises was carried out at the expense of the state program for the development of culture and tourism in the Magadan region. As part of the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives,” modern equipment was purchased for the Center, including computer equipment, video equipment, equipment for holding exhibitions and fairs, seminars, and training master classes.
