The "Far East Trail" in Chita has been listed in the Russian Book of Records

In the run-up to World Tourism Day, a Russian record was set on the "Great Sukhotinskaya Trail," a route created as part of the "Trails of the Far East" project. A total of 8,126 people were on the trail simultaneously. This achievement was officially recorded by the Russian Book of Records in the category "Largest number of people simultaneously on a single tourist route in Russia."

Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District—the initiator of the "Trails of the Far East" project—noted:

"The 'Trails of the Far East' federal project was created to enable local residents and visiting tourists to experience the amazing nature of the Far East in comfort—where modern amenities go hand in hand with environmental stewardship. When selecting routes, special emphasis is placed on allowing people to discover the history of the region and its cultural landmarks. We see interest in these trails from both locals and visitors alike, which demonstrates that this initiative is both in demand and valued by the public."
