A three-story sports complex with two swimming pools will be built in Murmansk by a new resident of the Russian Arctic

A new resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF), the “Swimming Pool on Kola” company, signed a concession agreement with the government of the Murmansk region on the construction of a sport and recreation complex with swimming pools and a gym in the capital of the region. The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) will assist the company in implementing the investment project. The volume of investments will exceed 1.1 billion rubles. The investor has already been allocated a land plot with an area of more than 25 thousand square meters on Kola Avenue in the capital of the Murmansk region. According to the director of the company Artem Kuksa, under the terms of the agreement with the FEDC, construction and installation work is planned to begin in 2024, and it is planned to complete construction and put the facility into operation in 2026. The investor is currently preparing construction documentation.
